Welcome to the Woods Hole Film Festival! So many fantastic MONDAY, JULY 25 -FRIDAY, JULY 29
documentaries! An embarrassment of riches in the doc lineup.
There are stories about sustainable fashion; a legal battle that BEFORE THE FESTIVAL
dates back decades; several films about art; strong women;
science; environmental issues. I would highly recommend all Hosted Filmmaker Chats on Facebook Live, 10am daily,
of these films! Don’t miss this chance to meet the filmmakers
before the Festival!

SPECIAL EVENT SCREENING
BONNIE BLUE: JAMES COTTON’S LIFE IN THE BLUES
Support the Festival at a special fundraising screening. Join filmmakers
Bestor Cram, James Montgomery and Judy Laster for a special screening of the
new documentary film BONNIE BLUE: JAMES COTTON’S LIFE IN THE BLUES.
James “Super Harp” Cotton’s journey tracks America’s history and his story is one of
empowerment during a time when the weight of racial inequity made the journey
seem impossible. Cotton’s music made history; his musical voice was unique, and
the blues were never the same.
