Music at the Festival
Great music is one of the Festival’s hallmarks. Post-screening parties featuring live music by an array
of artists, take place during the Festival at local restaurants and other venues starting at 10:30 PM.
Post-screening parties are a great way to meet the filmmakers and discuss movies with fellow
cinephiles, while supporting local live music.

BONGOGENESIS
Caribbean music with a focus on afro cuban jazz and traditional afro cuban jazz.
The origin of the sound of the band Bongogenesisi is Traditional Cuban Music, and several styles that
evolved from those fertile roots. They also perform music from other Caribbean countries, and some songs
that are just fun to play and great for dancing. Their repertoire includes Son Montuno, Guajira, Mambo,
Son-Pregón, Bolero, Cha Cha Chá, Changüí, Afro-Cuban Jazz, Salsa, Calypso, Cape Verde, Reggae
and Afro-Cuban Rock.

JULIAN LAGE
Guitarist JULIAN LAGE will perform following the screening of the
documentary film THE CHISELS ARE CALLING.
Hailed as one of the most prodigious guitarists of his generation and “highest
category of improvising musicians” (New Yorker), Julian Lage has spent more
than a decade searching through the myriad strains of American musical history
via impeccable technique, free association and a spirit of infinite possibility. The
California-born New York-based musician boasts a prolific resume on his own
accord in addition to collaborating with Gary Burton and John Zorn, as well as
duo projects with Nels Cline, Chris Eldridge and Fred Hersch, among others.

KIM MOBERG
Kim Moberg is an award winning singer/songwriter and self taught,
finger pick style guitarist. Kim’s passionate and heartfelt vocals
mesmerize listeners while her compositions tug at feelings of
melancholy, heartbreak, healing and social consciousness.

ANNA AND THE MODERNS
Anna and the Moderns is a new musical group on Cape Cod featuring
the talented singer Anna McEntee from Mashpee on lead vocals! A
5 piece band featuring Jimmie Snyder on Bass, Jay Sheehan on Drums,
David Roellke on Keyboards, Rick Barry on Guitar and Anna McEntee on Vocals. The band covers songs from
Amy Winehouse, Sarah Bareilles, Queen, Maroon 5, Pretenders, Meghan Trainor, Beatles, Paramore, Nora Jones,
Ingrid Michelson, and much more!
