Interested in volunteering for one of the best film festivals in New England?

The 2008 Woods Hole Film Festival has several positions available for Summer 2008.  Where indicated, a stipend is available. 

All volunteers must be at least 21 and have own transportation.  Except as otherwise indicated, all positions are forSaturday, July 26 through Saturday, August 2, 2008

Volunteer Positions:

Venue Manager(s).  Stipend available.

Duties include:  Managing operations at assigned venue, including screenings, panel discussions.  Will coordinate with volunteer manager, filmmakers and patrons.  Must be organized, friendly and able to respond as needed to any situation.

Box Office - Ticket and Merchandise Sales and Information

Duties include:  Selling tickets and merchandise daily throughout the Festival.  Must be friendly and enjoy working with the public.  

Venue Assistant(s)

Duties include:  Ushering, Distributing and collecting ballots, collecting tickets and helping to provide information.  Must be friendly and enjoy working with the public.

Projectionists, Sound Technicians.  Stipend available. July 23 - August 3rd.

Duties include:  Assembly and set up of all projection, audio and presentation equipment.  Coordination of festival projection staff.  Check in/ out of equipment to vendors.
