The Last Minute Swing Band - Saturday, July 28th, Cap'n Kidd Waterfront Restaurant, 10:30 pm

Flynn, Singer/Songwriter - Friday, August 3rd, Nimrod Restaurant, 10 pm

Flynn has carved out a thriving career as an artist, composer and producer. After capturing the "Outstanding Debut Release" at the Boston Music Awards, he completed his strongestselection of songs to date on onAn Amercian Wake (Black Wolf Records).

His new release reflects his adopted country of America with an honest, emotionally powerful and passionate view of American life within the framework of a masterful pop/rock production.

Flynn is a musician coming into his own. Along with his solo and band performances, he is in high demand with a steady stream of TV and film projects both as a composer and songwriter. Flynn has and continues to have song placements on major TV network shows such as: The Young and the Restless, One Life to Live, All My Children, Haunted. Stuck On You. His music is popping up in all sorts of places these days, for instance, Kenneth Cole recently picked one of Flynn's songs to be featured on the 15,000 CD samplers given out to customers at his high fashion shoe/clothing stores. Flynn's compelling live show has been affirmed by scoring openers with acts ranging from The Allman Brothers and Simple Minds to Seven Nations and Ellis Paul. Whether it is concert halls or intimate coffeehouse settings, Flynn combines his uncanny ability to reach people through song; drawing from the wisdom and insight that comes from surviving a life-changing event.  The songs are as honest, passionate and exciting as his life has been.

Barclay Martin, Singer/Songwriter, Saturday, August 4th, 11 pm Landfall Restaurant

A traveler by nature, Barclay Martin’s music has always reflected experiences wrought from taking the road less traveled. Having spent over 3 years of his life living abroad, his songs speak of the ties that bind, people, their hope and joy, sorrow and struggle. He weaves stories throughout his shows, looking intimately into the places and the events that brought them about. Formerly of the Michigan based folk/bluegrass quintet Potato Moon, Martin left the band in 2002 in order to embark on a trip to Latin America and to continue the development of his songwriting individually. Through his background as a troubadour and adventurer, he has become aware of the richness and beauty of the greater world firsthand. A Kansas City native, Martin is taking to the road again this time on a 10-month tour of the United States in support of his solo record “Promise on a String.” The record is, in many respects, a convergence of his background in homegrown music and the experiences taken from years of learning through travel. A blend of folk, jazz, pop, and bluegrass, it is an honest, organic sound, which calls upon the ancient tones that reverberate through the halls of American music.
