 The Woods Hole Film Festival is one of the oldest film festivals in New England and has been showcasing independent and emerging filmmakers for nearly 35 years. The Woods Hole Film Festival brings community together through film all year long: from the 8-day summer Film Festival, to the year-sound series Dinner & A Movie, Best of the Festival, bringing science to the screen, to hosting filmmaker conversations and other special events, the Woods Hole Film Festival is a year-round celebration of independent film. 

The Woods Hole Film Festival is a community-based non-profit organization, independently funded through the generosity of donors and sponsors, the participation of members and volunteers, as well as grant funding and ticket sales.
