Submission Dates and Fees
WITHOUTABOX Members may submit through the link on the HOME page of the website. Discounts and extended deadlines may apply
Feature (over 40 minutes running time)
- Postmarked on or before April 1, 2008: $40.00 / Postmarked on or before May 1, 2008: $50.00
Short (under 40 minutes running time)
- Postmarked on or before April 1, 2008: $30.00 / Postmarked on or before May 1, 2008: $40.00
SUBMISSION FORM MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL!!
When submitting more than one film, please submit separate packages for each film, including separate video cassettes, and include all items listed above. You may use photocopies of the entry form as necessary.
Entry Checklist
No entry will be processed without these materials:
Electronic• ____ Electronic pre-submission via email, email with attached file (PDF/Txt) or On-Line Entry Form. If you are using the .PDF submission form be sure to print extra copies for your own files and to send in with the submission package. You should email this on or before the day you ship your package. If you experience great difficulty pre-submitting electronically, include a short desciption of the problem and go ahead and enter by mail.
Physical
• ____ A preview copy on 1/2” VHS videotape or DVD Region 1 or 0 (NTSC system only) for consideration by the Selection Committee. Be certain to label with videotape and any video box with the film's title, your name, phone number, and email address.
• ____ Completed printed Entry Form with authorized signature and date must accompany each entry.
• ____ One set of press and publicity materials and/or Description and synopsis of film and at least one black & white or color still from film.
• ____ Entry fee: Enclose check, money order or bank draft, payable to the WOODS HOLE FILM FESTIVAL., Inc. International entrants must use an international money order paid in US dollars through a US bank.
• ____ All entries must be postmarked on or before April 1, 2008. (Early submission discounts apply until May 1, 2008- see fee schedule.) All entries must be sent to the WHFF prepaid and, for your own protection, should be insured.
• ____ (optional) Materials will NOT be returned. All submission materials will be kept for additional consideration in the Winter Film Series as well.
• ____ (optional) For confirmation that your entry was received, please include a stamped self-addressed postcard.
Electronic Entry Form
1. Adobe Acrobat .PDF file: This is a file that you can fill out on your computer and send a copy by email and print to include a copy with the mailed package. You can do this on-line or download the file to your computer and do it later. But be sure to save the file after you have filled it out and email the saved file! You should also keep a copy for your own records. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the form.
The form is large and you are better off downloading it to your computer and filling it out.
