WOODS HOLE PARKING and PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Parking in Woods Hole is tight in the summer, however, public transportation options are available. Ride the WHOOSH Trolley from Falmouth to the Festival for just $1.00 each way. The Trolley runs approximately every 20-30 minutes. Check the WHOOSH Trolley website for current fare and schedule information at www.capecodtransit.org.
The Steamship Authority also provides parking lots conveniently located along Route 28, with buses that go directly to Woods Hole. For schedule, location and parking fees check www.steamshipauthority.com.
Public parking is available on the street at meters. Meter rates are in use 7 days per week until 6 p.m. On street parking free after 6 p.m. As a courtesy, Festival patrons may park in the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution parking lot at School Street - a short walk to the village - weekdays after 5 p.m. and weekends day and evening. The entrance to the lot is the third driveway on the right on School Street. Follow the stone wall around to the back. Neither the Woods Hole Film Festival not WHOI is not responsible for vehicles or vehicle contents parked in the lot.
Patrons are highly encouraged to carpool, ride your bicycle to Woods Hole along the Shining Sea Bikepath or walk. All village venues are conveniently located within easy walking distance to each other.
